龍を生み出す作家展  -Artists Bringing Dragons to Life-

龍は、実在しない存在です。
それでも私たちは、昔から龍を知っています。

神話や伝承、建築や絵画の中で、龍は語り継がれ、描かれてきました。
強さや畏れ、守りや自然の象徴として。

しかし龍の姿や意味は、文化や時代、そして人によって大きく異なります。
つまり「龍」とは、決まった形を持たない存在なのです。

この展覧会では、作家それぞれの内側から生まれる龍に焦点を当てます。
想像力の中から立ち上がる、多様な龍の表現。

作家の数だけ生まれる龍の世界を、どうぞお楽しみください。

Dragons are not real creatures.
Yet somehow, we have always known them.

Throughout myths and legends, architecture and paintings,
dragons have been depicted as symbols of strength, awe, protection, and nature.

However, the form and meaning of dragons have changed greatly across cultures, eras, and individuals.
In other words, a “dragon” has no fixed shape.

This exhibition focuses on dragons that emerge from the imagination of each artist.
Through these diverse expressions, we invite you to experience the many worlds and stories that dragons can embody.

門司港レトロという観光地に位置するギャラリーでの開催です。
旅の途中でふらりと立ち寄った方や、アートに詳しくない方にも、気軽に作品と出会っていただける場を目指しています。

Located within the Mojiko Retro tourist area, this gallery aims to provide a welcoming space where travelers and first-time art viewers can casually encounter contemporary artworks.

出展作家紹介

嘉藤 那美

atelier kuanTARA代表。岩手県盛岡市在住。
色彩に関する学びを深め、セラピストとしての経験を積んだ後、2014年にパステル曼荼羅アートと出会い、独自に創作を開始。”色”は土台であり、表現の源。
繊細さゆえに生きづらさを感じていた時期を経て、今はその繊細さを力へと変え、目に見えない想いを色と形へと昇華している。心にそっと寄り添い、癒しと希望を届ける慈愛のアートを描く。
atelier kuanTARAとして「art×ルーシーダットン×旅」を軸に活動。日々の小さな幸せに心を向けながら、心と身体を整え、“自分らしく生きる力”が自然に溢れていく循環を広げている。

Tomomi Kato
Representative of atelier kuanTARA. Based in Morioka, Iwate, Japan.
After deepening her studies in color and gaining experience as a therapist, she encountered pastel mandala art in 2014 and began developing her own original practice. Color is the foundation and the source of her expression.
Having once struggled with her sensitivity, she now transforms it into strength, sublimating invisible emotions into color and form. Her work gently accompanies the viewer’s heart, offering healing and hope.
Through atelier kuanTARA, she works at the intersection of art, Ruesi Dadton, and travel, cultivating a cycle in which people nurture body and mind and rediscover the power to live as their authentic selves.

 

最上 健

仏師／彫刻家。長野県出身、埼玉県在住。
日常の身近なものを題材に、モチーフの一瞬の動きや表情を捉える彫刻を制作。モチーフと対話しながら、表面では見えにくい構造や内面を把握することで、鑑賞者の心に届く作品を目指している。
現代社会の情報過多の中で、本質や大きな構造をとらえることをテーマとする。
伝統工芸専門学校にて仏像彫刻を学び、木彫刻宗舟・及川茂氏に師事。2022年、筑波大学大学院 彫塑専攻修了。
第8回・第10回日展 特選、茗渓会賞、筑波大学研究科長賞受賞。東京都 玄國寺 四天王像制作など、伝統と現代を横断する活動を展開している。

Ken Mogami
Buddhist sculptor and contemporary sculptor. Born in Nagano, based in Saitama, Japan.
He creates sculptures inspired by familiar subjects from everyday life, capturing fleeting movements and expressions. Through dialogue with his motifs, he seeks to understand their hidden structures and inner essence, aiming to create works that resonate deeply with viewers.
Amid the information overload of modern society, his theme is to grasp essential truths and larger underlying structures.
He studied Buddhist sculpture at a traditional crafts school and apprenticed under master wood sculptor Shigeru Oikawa. In 2022, he completed his Master’s degree in Sculpture at the University of Tsukuba.
He has received Special Selection awards at the 8th and 10th Nitten exhibitions, the Meikeikai Award, and the Dean’s Award at the University of Tsukuba. His work includes the creation of the Four Heavenly Kings statues at Genkokuji Temple in Tokyo, bridging tradition and contemporary expression.

PINsoup

art / words / music を軸に制作。
光と影、自然界の循環、命の再生を主題に、目に見えない気配を描いている。音の奔流の中で龍のエネルギーに触れた体験を契機に、龍を“創造と変容を司る存在”として表現するようになった。
龍は、内なる光を呼び覚ます象徴。静かな祈りを込めながら制作を続ける一方、音楽活動も行い、表現の領域を横断している。

PINsoup
Creates at the intersection of art, words, and music.
Focusing on light and shadow, natural cycles, and the rebirth of life, PINsoup portrays invisible presences. After encountering the energy of a dragon within a torrent of sound, the dragon became a central motif representing creation and transformation.
For PINsoup, the dragon symbolizes the awakening of inner light. While continuing to create with quiet prayerfulness, they also engage in musical activities, crossing multiple expressive fields.

saosuda.sienna

埼玉県在住。女子美術大学附属高等学校、女子美術大学芸術学科卒業。
学生時代は色彩学や美術史、保存科学などを学ぶ。結婚・出産を経て、子どものためのスタイ作りをきっかけに刺繍と出会い、今年で9年。
糸を重ねる時間の中で、自身の表現を模索し続けている。現在は0歳児の育児中。コツコツと新たな作風へと歩みながら、新たな出会いも楽しみに活動している。
本展では、自身の刺繍作品に加え、8歳の子どもと共に制作した作品も展示する。

saosuda.sienna
Based in Saitama, Japan. Graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design and its affiliated high school.
She studied color theory, art history, and conservation science during her academic years. After marriage and childbirth, she encountered embroidery while making baby bibs for her child, and has continued the practice for nine years.
Through layering threads, she continues to explore her own expression. Currently raising a 0-year-old child, she steadily develops new styles while welcoming new encounters.
In this exhibition, she will present her own embroidery works as well as a piece created together with her 8-year-old child.

MAINA

大分県在住。空想や物語の世界をテーマに、ペン画やアクリル画で作品を制作。
星、船、灯り、魂の旅路などをモチーフに、見る人が自分自身の内側と静かに向き合えるような表現を大切にしている。
幼い頃から空想の世界に救われてきた経験をもとに、絵を通して「心にともる小さな灯り」を描き続けている。作品は一点ものの原画を中心に制作し、近年は物語性を重視した展示やオーダーアートにも取り組む。
本展では、内なる力や目覚めを象徴する存在として“龍”を、自身の空想世界の視点から表現する。

MAINA
Based in Oita, Japan. Creates works in pen and acrylic centered on fantasy and narrative worlds.
Motifs such as stars, ships, lights, and journeys of the soul appear throughout her work, inviting viewers to quietly reconnect with their inner selves.
Having been saved by imaginary worlds since childhood, she continues to paint “small lights within the heart.” She primarily produces one of a kind original works and in recent years has focused on story driven exhibitions and commissioned pieces.
In this exhibition, she interprets the dragon as a symbol of inner strength and awakening through the lens of her imaginative universe.

古賀 茜

細長い紙を巻き重ねて形を生み出す装飾アート、ペーパークイリングの技法を用いて制作。
図案に従うのではなく、手を動かす中で生まれる流れを感じ取りながらスリットやカットを加え、「想い」を一本の線として紡いでいる。
重なり合う線の奥行きと余白の中に、目に見えない感情や気配を映し出すことを大切にする制作スタイル。平面でありながら空気感を宿す作品を追求し、クイリングジュエリーの制作・発表とともに国内外で展示販売を行っている。

Akane Koga
Creates decorative works using the technique of paper quilling, shaping forms by rolling and layering slender strips of paper.
Rather than strictly following predetermined designs, she senses the flow that emerges through movement, adding slits and cuts while spinning emotion into a single continuous line.
She values expressing invisible feelings and subtle presences within layered lines and open space. Pursuing an atmosphere that breathes within flat surfaces, she presents quilling artworks and jewelry both in Japan and internationally.

MIYU

静岡県在住。独学で絵を描き続けているアーティスト。
パステル・水彩・色鉛筆を用い、やわらかな色合いと感覚を大切にした表現を行う。
感情の揺らぎや静かな心の動きを、繊細な色彩で描き出している。

MIYU
Based in Shizuoka, Japan. A self taught artist who continues to explore painting independently.
Using pastel, watercolor, and colored pencil, she values softness in tone and sensation.
Through delicate colors, she portrays emotional fluctuations and the quiet movements of the heart.

たぎうい

さまざまな表現方法で自分らしさを模索中。人ならざるものを好み、その存在感や気配を描く。
MVイラストやパッケージデザイン、ロゴ制作なども手がけ、ジャンルを横断して活動している。

Tagiui
Currently exploring personal expression through diverse creative methods. Drawn to beings beyond the human, Tagiui depicts their presence and atmosphere.
Also active in music video illustration, package design, and logo creation, working across multiple genres.

芳賀 健太

兵庫県出身・大分県在住。大分県立芸術文化短期大学卒。「アートの力で街と世界をハッピーに」をテーマに、壁画・絵画・絵本・音楽・ワークショップなど多彩な表現で活動。
2005年より“空間ペインター”として壁画制作を開始。「恋叶トンネル」（大分県豊後高田市）など100か所以上のパブリックアートを手がける。
国内外での展示や共作、2013年からの絵本制作のほか、平和や地球環境をテーマとした表現活動を続けている。

Kenta Haga
Born in Hyogo and based in Oita, Japan. Graduated from Oita Prefectural College of Arts and Culture. With the theme “Bringing happiness to towns and the world through art,” he works across murals, painting, picture books, music, and workshops.
Since 2005, he has created murals as a spatial painter, completing over one hundred public artworks including the “Koikano Tunnel” in Bungotakada, Oita.
He continues to engage in exhibitions and collaborations in Japan and abroad, as well as picture book production since 2013, focusing on themes of peace and the global environment.

 

留∞瑞（ryu-sui）

鹿児島県出身。
2023年に香川県で龍に出会って以降、InstagramやThreadsにて龍の絵を発信。香川県内のマルシェや個人販売サイトにてオリジナル龍画を販売している。
龍との出会いをきっかけに、自身の感覚と向き合う制作を続けている。

Ryu-sui
Born in Kagoshima, Japan.
After encountering a dragon presence in Kagawa in 2023, Ryu-sui began sharing dragon artworks through Instagram and Threads. Original dragon paintings are sold at local markets in Kagawa and through personal online platforms.
This encounter became a turning point, leading to an ongoing creative journey rooted in personal intuition and sensitivity.

Heart hope

和歌山県出身在住。ジュエリーデザイナーとして30年間従事。GIA.G.G 米国宝石学会公認鑑別鑑定士。
2018年より画家Heart hopeとして活動を開始。命・祈り・平和をテーマに、その瞬間に感じ取った音や匂い、空気感を作品へと落とし込む。
アクリル絵具、ペン、油絵具、デジタル、時に楽器も用いながら、躍動感と臨場感を伴う表現を追求。
今を生きる私たちが昇龍のように優雅に昇っていく姿を重ね合わせながら、日々“今”を大切に制作を続けている。

Heart hope
Born and based in Wakayama, Japan. Worked as a jewelry designer for 30 years and is a GIA Graduate Gemologist.
Since 2018, active as the painter Heart hope. With themes of life, prayer, and peace, she translates the sounds, scents, and atmosphere felt in a given moment into visual form.
Using acrylic, pen, oil paint, digital tools, and sometimes musical instruments, she pursues expression filled with movement and immediacy.
She creates while cherishing the present moment, overlapping the image of rising dragons with the graceful ascent of people living in today’s world.

書彩アート粋淳（すいじゅん）

鹿児島を拠点に活動する書道家。「粋淳書道教室」を主宰し、書の基礎と表現の両輪を伝えている。
現在は桜島の廃校活用を目指し、書道パフォーマンス育成機関「書彩ART学院」設立準備に向けて活動中。
伝統を礎に、書で人と人を結ぶ未来を描いている。

Suijun – Shosai Art
A calligrapher based in Kagoshima, Japan. Founder of the Suijun Calligraphy School, teaching both foundational technique and expressive freedom.
Currently working toward establishing the Shosai ART Academy, a performance oriented calligraphy institution, while exploring the revitalization of a former school building in Sakurajima.
Grounded in tradition, Suijun envisions a future where calligraphy connects people across generations and communities.

Mtiustudio

フランスのイラストレーター。
1960年代から1970年代の日本のレトロ文化に魅了され、アール・ヌーヴォーの影響も受けている。
異なる時代と文化のエッセンスを融合させた独自の世界観を構築し、ノスタルジーと装飾性が交差する作品を制作している。

Mtiustudio
An illustrator based in France.
Deeply inspired by Japanese retro culture of the 1960s and 1970s as well as Art Nouveau, Mtiustudio blends influences from different eras and cultures.
The resulting works form a distinctive world where nostalgia and ornamentation intersect.

浅沼　静香

愛知県在住。トールペイント講師として22年、アルコールインクアート講師として3年活動。
これまで25,000人以上にアートを指導し、初心者でも楽しみながら表現できるアート講座を開催している。
現在は中部電力 MIRAI TOWER（名古屋テレビ塔）や豊田市など各地でアート教室を開催。
また、美術家連盟の画廊である美術家連盟画廊での個展にも参加するなど、活動の幅を広げている。
瞑想アート、お守りアート、龍が現れるスピリチュアルアートなど、心の内側と向き合う表現をテーマに制作を続けている。

Shizuka Asanuma

Based in Aichi, Japan. She has been active as a toll painting instructor for 22 years and as an alcohol ink art instructor for 3 years.
She has taught art to more than 25,000 people and holds art classes where even beginners can enjoy expressing themselves.
Currently, she holds art classes in various places such as Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER (Nagoya TV Tower) and Toyota City.
She has also participated in solo exhibitions at the gallery of the Japan Artists Association.
Meditation art, amulet art, and spiritual art in which dragons appear.

ART×PORTは、
「観光地で、ふとアートに出会うきっかけをつくる」
ことを大切にした企画展シリーズです。

作品を通して来場者と出会い、言葉を交わし、
アートの新しい入り口となる「港」のような場を目指しています。

ART×PORT is an exhibition series dedicated to creating opportunities for unexpected encounters with art in tourist destinations.
Through artworks and conversations, we aim to become a “port” where new journeys into art begin.
