Rain Shelter Cats Exhibition

ART×PORTは、北九州・門司港レトロの大連友好記念館で開催している企画展です。
作品を通して来場者と出会い、言葉を交わし、アートの新しい入り口となる“港”のような存在を目指しています。

観光地にあるギャラリーだからこそ、アートに詳しくない方や旅の途中でふらりと立ち寄った方にも、気軽に作品と出会える場所です。

前回11月に開催し好評だった「港のネコ展」の続編として、猫をテーマにした企画展を6月に開催します。
タイトルに「雨」を入れていますが、作品に雨を描く必要はありません。自由に猫をテーマにした作品でご参加いただけます。

会場では、門司港の保護猫や地域猫を支援するチャリティ募金も行います。
猫の作品を楽しみながら、地域猫活動にも貢献できる企画展です。

出展者募集について

• 募集人数：12名程度

• 「猫」をテーマ・モチーフ・イメージとして感じられる作品であれば、絵画・イラスト・写真・立体・工芸・グッズなど、表現方法は問いません

• プロ・アマ、年齢・経験不問

• 在廊は必須ではなく、作品のみでの参加も可能です

• 海外からの出展も歓迎します

• 会場では門司港の保護猫・地域猫チャリティ募金も行います

• 会期：2026年6月11日（金）〜6月16日（火）

• 搬入日：6月10日（木）

• 会場：大連友好記念館 2階（門司港美術工芸研究所ギャラリー）

• 入場料：無料

搬入・搬出について

• 搬入日：6月10日（木）

• 搬出日：6月16日（火）16:00以降

• 遠方の方や搬入・搬出が難しい方は、前日までに作品を郵送でお送りいただければ対応可能です

• ※送料は出展者様のご負担となります

出展料・販売手数料について

• 一般出展者：6,600円（税込）

• 門司港美術工芸研究所 OB・研究生 / andGALLERY サロンメンバー：無料

• 販売手数料：30％

• 出展料には以下が含まれます：

  • 会場利用料（搬入・搬出・会期6日間）

  • フライヤー制作・印刷・配布

  • イベントページ掲載（出展者プロフィール・SNSリンク）

  • キャプション制作

  • 展示・販売サポート（紙袋など梱包材）

ART×PORT is a curated exhibition held at the Dalian Friendship Memorial Hall in Mojiko Retro, Kitakyushu.
Through the artworks on display, we aim to connect with visitors and create a “port”—a new gateway into the world of art.

About Participation

• Number of artists: Approximately 12

• Works may relate to the theme, motif, or image of cats; all forms of expression are welcome, including painting, illustration, photography, sculpture, crafts, or merchandise

• Professional or amateur artists, all ages and experience levels are welcome

• Artist attendance is not required; artworks only participation is possible

• International artists are welcome

• A charity donation for local cats and shelters will be held at the venue

Exhibition Details

• Dates: June 11 (Fri) – June 16 (Tue), 2026

• Move-in: June 10 (Thu)

• Venue: Dalian Friendship Memorial Hall 2F (Mojiko Art & Craft Research Institute Gallery)

• Admission: Free

Move-in / Move-out

• Move-in: June 10 (Thu)

• Move-out: June 16 (Tue), after 16:00

• For artists unable to attend in person, artworks may be shipped in advance (must arrive by the day before move-in).

• Shipping costs must be covered by the exhibitor.

Exhibition Fee & Sales Commission

• General exhibitors: ¥6,600 (tax included)

• Mojiko Art & Craft Research Institute alumni/students / andGALLERY Salon members: Free

• Sales commission fee: 30%

• The fee includes:

  • Gallery usage (move-in, move-out, 6-day exhibition period)

  • Flyer production, printing, and distribution

  • Event page listing (artist profile & social media link)

  • Caption production

  • Exhibition and sales support (packaging materials, paper bags, etc.)
